as usual, its been forever. i didnt write about my surprise birthday party i got four months late. i didnt write about my trip to west edmonton mall. i think i left off at thanksgiving. welp, im moving past those things and going to tell you guys about this conference me and my mom went to. we drove to edmonton on january 12th. we hung out for indian food, communion, and the night at raelynn and jeremiahs. we woke up frickin early and drove to the airport. we were boarded on out west jet flight bound for abbostford by 6:30 and we were flying by 7:00. AM! out flight went from edmonton to calgary, stopped for about 20 minutes and continued on to BC. unfortunately, it was a horribly windy day and our plane was moving in such a way that i knew i was going to throw up, but it was okay cuz we were going to land ijn like 5 minutes. the storm continued and they announced that a planes brakes had frozen and they couldnt get it of the runway where we needeed to land. we were going to circle the airport for about 15 minutes. thats when i grabbed the barf bag. do you know anyone who has actually used one? theyre awkward. anyways, we finally landed and ended up being delayed flight another 1/2 hour. yeah, so we finally reached the abbotsford airport. jer's aunty jenny and her daughter lacey were waiting for us with a sign with our names on it. ive always wanted someone to make me a sign. she drove me and my mom to her house and my mom and i went straight to bed after an exhausting day. Rae and jer showed up just in time to drive to the abbotsford pennecostal church for registration. the huge line up tok probably about an hour to get thru, but once inside, we had a great time. i spent the whole time at the front. i dont think i ever sat in a pew in that church. anyways, the speakers were todd bently, graham cook, and heidi baker. i loved graham the best. he constantly described God as "irrepressably cheerful". the first two days the music was done by jason upton, which was awesome, and the last days were micheal larson, which were good too. we had three sessions a day, and they were all full and exciting. God and todd performed a healing ceremony one night. people were jumping around getting healed and excited. a guy with a bad knee got healed right beside me. yeah, he was pumped, and i was pumped for him too. three people stand out to me. i didnt meet many, but the few i met made up for that. there was a woman named ruth who was there looking for ehaling for her daughter lisa. it was lisas gr 12 year and she suffers from scoliosis. its very hard on her and her family. ruth became someone who wouldnt even leave for lunch without saying goodbye to me and giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. then there was this cool woman whose name i dont know. she had just recently converted from islamic to christianity. she would smile the biggest sweetest smile and kiss my cheek, hug me, and pray for me. she called m e herr baby and told me i smelled like apple blossoms and that i was going to blossom very soon. i loved her. then there was a guy from california. his name was shandy (yeah, i know its a cool name) and he was more on fire for God than lots of people i know. he was so open to be friends and was almost identical personality-wise to my cousin tyler. he was the best. so days were long and busy but beautiful. the music was great (I got Jason Upton: faith) and it smelled like Jesus. (thats not an analogy either. God smells good.) back at where i was staying, Jeff, Jenny, Raina, Lacey, my Mom, Raelynn, and Jeremiah all hung out. i had late pizza parties/bonding time with rae and sat with jer by the fireplace alot. i even hung out with the adults and played with the little kids. everything and everyone was and is beautiful. i had a great time out there. the trip home was an adventure as well. our plane was supposed to leave at 7:00 again, but due to a freezing rain storm, the flight to edmonton was cancelled. luckily, west jet chartered a bus and sent us to vancouver to fly from there. we were assured that our flight would be at 11:10. when we got there, they told us that we were actually reaccomidated to the 12:05 flight, which left 15 minutes late. so yeah, we ended up losing 5 hours. we finally arrived in edmonton at 2:00 BC time, which was actually 3:00 edmonton which was 4:00 saskatchewan time, but it was barf free!!! With the weather it would take about 7 hours to drive home. me and my mom were already exhausted. we found our way out of edmonton and it was smooth saling from there...almost. we popped in my new Jason Upton and I fell asleep. My mom said the music brought her back to the conference and she fell asleep at the wheel. thank goodness she woke up before she ran off the road. we made surprisingly good time and got home at 10:30-ish. yeah, i had a great time. it theres anything else you wanna know, you know who to call! Blessings.
