on our few days off this long weekend i went to visit my sister. it was super fun and i shopped a lot. anyways, partway thru i got super sick. without warning my eye swelled shut. it was super light sensitive so basically i walked around the house crying and covering my eyes. caity took really good care of me and brought me to the walk in clinic. the woman had to hold my eye open (ouch!) and shine a light into it. (double ouch!!!) this was less than pleasant but the results were that there were no scratches, just a virus that would work its way away soon enough. she advized me to put a hot wet cloth on my eye a few times a day and it would feel better. if that didnt work i was supposed to go to the hospital. thankfully, the hot compress was super soothing and my healing made leaps and bounds in that one day. im still recovering technical but im at shcool and i can actually open my eye so thats a good sign. also during my time in winnipeg i bought my grad jewellery, some belts, a purse, and a shirt. i went to a symphony and finally saw the jonny depp version of "charlie and the chocolate factory". it was good but i hated the oompa-loompas and their songs.on my flight there i made friends with these scotia bank guys who gave me 50 timbits, and on the flight back i got to be in a new plane with leather seats and tvs on the back of every seat, so i watched Miami Ink in TLC. all in all, it was a good trip. i love you caity
