From last night, specifically 11:00pm and onward, there has been adventure after adventure. Yesterday, I experienced my first game, or rather first two games of "Gargoyle." This game is a one of those turn-off-the-lights-and-don't-get-found-by-the-guy-who-wants-you-to-scream-and-lose-the-game type of games. We played until one. Both rounds consisted of a different villain, along with a lot of screaming and a lot of losing the game. We played until 1:00am, when unfortunately, the main building needed to be closed. Some of us, however, were no longer tired, and were conscious of the fact that we didn't want to go to bed quite so early on a friday night, so spontaneous planning began. Lacey and I, along with Matt, Joel, Keith, and Bradey crammed into Matt's five-seater car and headed to the city. We hit Tim Horton's first with plans to go to McDonalds to satisfy my ice cream craving. Who would have thought you could spend so long in Tim Hortons. We arrived there shortly after 2:00am approximately, and were left arounf 4:00am. We went to two different McDonalds, and what's the coincidence that the ice cream machines in both venues were broken? A million to one. I hate it when the one wins. Bloody one. Anyway, we came to the conclusion that God didn't want me to have ice cream that night, so we headed back. Now, just to clarify, I've never hung out with this crowd before. Don't get me wrong, because they are fabulous! I'd just never got there yet. Our entire trip to and in and from the city were filled with the loudest, most fast-paced conversation and cutting off of stories you have ever heard. I was impressed. The drive home, despite my dissappointment due to lack of ice cream, was hilarious. Have you ever sung "Bang Bang Boom" by the Moffats at the top of your lungs with a group of people consisting of people you're never even spoke to, much less spent time with? It was so freeing. We got back to schol shortly after 5:00am. Now I'm tired, but it was so worth it.
