Baaah! The Hepburn Boys Strike Twice in One Night
Wow, yesterday was eventful. I not only had three deputations with Point of Impact. As soon as we arrived back at school, I got my second wind. As usual, Brady rescued me and we went for a walk in the country. We were kind of out in the middle of nowhere and it was getting a little late to be walking super far so we were headed back when a truck full of some of the local notorious Hepburn Boys drove up and asked us if we wanted a ride. We declined and began walking again. We heard them yell some other things but they kept driving the opposite way. I was a little nervous but it helped that Brady wasn't really nervous at all. Anyway, we headed back into town but ended up going and sitting at the top of the stairs that lead to the roof of the high school. At one point, I thought some ice melted and fell down lightly in front of us. However, it kept happening. It turned out that three drunk guys were throwing things at us. Brady was relaxed an I was nervous, yet again. I had the poor guy in death grip and I wasn't letting go...so yeah, I was pretty scared, especially when they started talking to us. The guy that talked to us was just a high school kid talking in a deep voice but it wasn't really a relief. He was being a chotch and kept throwing things. The rocks were getting bigger but we were just going to wait them out. The only thing I really insisted on is that I didn't want them to come around the school to the side where they could come up the stairs. They came around, or at least one guy did. He whipped this really hard-packed snowball at the side of the school. That sort of did it for us so Brady walked down before me and we walked in the opposite direction. The snowball I expected to hit me in the back of the head never came and we just went around the long way back to the school. When we were just at the entrance to the shcool, we saw the guys still at the school. They followed us a bit but we went right up to the school. He was talking about how he wanted to go find them and just make fun of them. Suddenly we heard them pretty cose. He just hugged and sent me off to my dorm and booted off in the directoin of the voices. Are you suicidal?

A classy day out.
Just the other day I was sitting in the pit with my friend, Brady, and I asked him to tell me a story. The story went like this:
There once was a girl named Hailey who write her Marriage and Famliy midterm, got a 89.5% on it, and her and her friend, Brady, went to see a movie to celebrate.
Sounds like a good story eh? Well, believe it or not, it came true! Well, I don't know if the mark is for real yet, but the celebration happened. We fleed Hepburn as soon as I was out of piano lessons. We entered the ciyt in the middle of rush hour. Praise the Lord for icy roads, spinning tired, slanted roads, and cars that snow on the inside. Also, praise the Lord for a heated car, safety, snow, and Chianti. That;s right. We went out for nice pasta and that great bread dipped in that vat of fabulous oil. Yum. After that, we were going to see Zodiac, but unfortunately, if started later and, as it was a wednesday night, we didn't want to stay out uber-late. We ended up seeing Children of Men. Originally, I was scared to soo this movie. However, it was so not what I expected. It was actually a really good movie with some comic relief throughout. Watch out for the Natoinal Geographic moments, though. Really good times. Then, we tried to find a Tim Horton's that we had never been to. This part of the story won't be funny to anyone but us but I've gotta try. We decided to go to one across the river. It took us a freaking long itme for us to figure out that we were already across the river. We laughed at ourselves and then just decided to fllow a street...the one that took us directly out of the city. Very quickly, too! We drove over train tracks and Saskatoon was gone. We alughed so hard, admitted defeat, and headed towards the familiar Timmy's on 51st. We found a new one on the way though, so we ended up going to that one instead. It was the definition of gong-show, but it was so much fun. I laughed...a lot.
So that was my latest fun day. Now I am sleepy and must go to sleep. I love you all.

Sometimes people don't understand me. Then again, sometimes they do.
So as a lot of people know, this year has been by far one of the most difficult so far. I was even at a point not that long ago when I was tempted to leave school and not finish the semester. Life has looked up. To be honest, I still lack any type of motivation I once had for school and classes. However, I go out a lot and have found more love in and for my friends than ever before. You know who you are. I love you. In the last three days, I have been to three movies, went on probably about six walks, ate out at Bonanza, wandered two hotels, was treated to milkshakes, hung out with my grandparents, and won best two out of three in Skip-bo. It has been immense.
So back to the topic of my title. Today, I was read. I know I am a fairly open person and a lot of the time, people can figure out what I am thinking, but it was different today. People ten to look at people like me and think that we have it all together. They think that because we always have people around us that we must be alright and cared for by all these people. False. Today, I went over the edge. No, I didn't explode or anything. I didn't even cry openly for a while. However, I was put in a situation and it scared me. My bud, Brady, came up to me after this went down and I asked him how he was and what he wanted to do. He just saw into me and said that he wanted to go a walk. What a life saver. We walked far into the country. It is so nice out. Unfortunately for him, I waited until we were about two miles out of town before I started crying. I sat in a hug and cried for a few minutes. Then we turned around and walked back. It was just what I needed. A few words of wisdom and a hug. Anyone who knows me knows that hugs always work. However, only those who really know me will hug me when I'm in that particular state of mind. It was kind of an ironic evening, as I am usually the one who claims I can read Brady like a book. Like I said earlier, today I was read - and understood.
The end. Currently, after a evening of crying and comfort, life is grand.
